Sick Babies

Sorry, no advice here...just ranting about the last few weeks. First EG got sick...coughing, runny nose, low fever. When the cough lasted through the night, we brought her to the dr and was diagnosed w/ RSV (don't know exact explanation, but I know it is a respiratory problem) Not bad enough to be hospitalized, just had to watch it. A week later, she's getting a little better, then SK gets it. We weren't going to take her in because we knew they couldn't do anything for EG, but then SK started wheezing :( So we took her in and they gave her medicine for that (in an inhaler~very expensive and then we only used it about 5 times!) So everyone was finally getting better when last Friday, out of the blue, EG got a fever. No other symptoms, just a fever above 102...ahhh! All she wanted to do was be held or sleep, which was difficult because SK wanted attention too! Saturday night she was up to about 103.4 (a new high for us ever!) and we took her in Sunday morning to find out it was really nothing...maybe a sore throat. This morning she seemed a lot better...YAY...and then I noticed the rash...all over her stomach, back, neck and around her ears. I'm thinking, "we just went to the dr YESTERDAY and I don't want to go back today!" Luckily, it didn't seem to bother her and according to the dr's office (which said they didn't need to see her again unless it got worse) then a baby can break out in a rash sometimes after a fever breaks. So whew! What a hectic last couple of weeks! I can't wait till we're all better!
